Gel-X is a "soft extension" that adds length to your nails while remaining flexible, not hard or plastic-like. As the name suggests, it's made from gel—a blend of acrylic monomers and oligomers, similar to what’s used in a standard gel manicure. The key difference is that Gel-X is pre-cured before application rather than after. They resemble "clear press-on extensions" but are thinner and more natural-looking.

A BIAB manicure uses Builder in a Bottle, a gel-like nail polish, which is applied as an overlay on your natural nails. It works very similarly to a normal gel polish, but as it has a thicker consistency it dries as a strong and durable layer - so you don't have to worry about chipping your brand new nails
